Big Game from Juhnke As Joliet Won 28-8
Starting off the list is Joliet's Kaden Juhnke, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Juhnke threw for 122 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 36 yards and a touchdown. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in September of 2023.
Shepherd's probably not too fond of Juhnke given he always seems to get the better of them. When Juhnke last faced the Mustangs back in September of 2023, he threw for 249 yards and four touchdowns while completing 72% of his passes, and also rushed for 40 yards.

A Season-Best Performance from Kooper Beard Leads Huntley Project over Colstrip
Kooper Beard produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Huntley Project to the win on Friday. Beard rushed for 72 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries, and also picked up 57 receiving yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
On the season, Beard has caught those 1 touchdown while averaging 25 receiving yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 9.83 receiving yards per game.

Schmidt Posts Huge Game in 41-6 Win
Grady Schmidt put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in September of 2023 on Friday. He rushed for 151 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.9 yards per carry.
For the season, Schmidt has run in 3 touchdowns while averaging 97.2 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after four games last season, he was only averaging 24.5 rushing yards per game.

While Wyatt Beddes delivered a dominant effort on Friday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Shepherd. Joliet had no answer to Beddes as he rushed for 60 yards.
Shepherd's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-4. Beddes and Shepherd will welcome Huntley Project at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Huntley Project was led to victory by Blake Ramaeker, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Ramaeker threw for 141 yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
On the season, Ramaeker has thrown 4 touchdowns while averaging 88.2 passing yards per game.
