There's no place like home for the Olympia Titans, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 63-44 win over Wekiva on Wednesday. Given Olympia's advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 18th, while Wekiva is ranked 268th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Kameren Wright continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 20 points along with six rebounds and four steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Olympia's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lucca Reinehr, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds.
Olympia's win was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-4. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 19.25 points. As for Wekiva, their loss dropped their record down to 5-10.
Olympia won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Evans at 7:00 p.m. on January 11th. Wekiva won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Dr. Phillips at 7:00 p.m. on January 11th.
