The Nova Titans will challenge the Boyd Anderson Cobras at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in Nova's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while Boyd Anderson has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.
Nova is headed into the match after thoroughly thrashing Plantation: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Nova blew Plantation out of the water with a 68-7 final score. The Titans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 21 points or more this season.

J'Yan Tyrell was her usual excellent self, putting up 13 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. What's more, she also racked up three assists, the most she's had since back in February of 2024. Ke'Mora Evans was another key player, posting eight points and four steals.
Meanwhile, Boyd Anderson took a blow against Blanche Ely back in December of 2024, falling 86-12. While losing is never fun, the Cobras can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 557th, while the Tigers are ranked 61st).
Nova will have to contain Jakira Dennis as she made an impact in Boyd Anderson's last game. She posted 11 points. That was a full 91.7% of Boyd Anderson's points, marking the fourth time in a row she's put up more than a third of the team's points.
Nova has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 33.8 points. As for Boyd Anderson, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.
This contest is shaping up to be a blowout: Nova hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 56.1 points per game. It's a different story for Boyd Anderson, though, as they've been averaging only 18.2 points. The only thing between Nova and another offensive beatdown is Boyd Anderson. Will they be able to keep them contained?
