National Christian Academy have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. They will challenge Fairmont Heights on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. The teams both are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
National Christian Academy put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season three weeks ago. They steamrollered Maryland Freedom 54-0. With National Christian Academy ahead 38-0 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Meanwhile, if there were any doubts about the heavy odds in favor of Fairmont Heights coming into their game against High Point last Friday, the team laid those doubts to rest. Fairmont Heights were the clear victor by a 35-7 margin over High Point. The win was familiar territory for Fairmont Heights, who now have seven in a row.
Their wins bumped Fairmont Heights to 7-0 and National Christian Academy to 4-1. After the lofty point totals in their previous games, we'll see if they're able to heat things up even more while facing each other.
