The Forsyth Central Bulldogs''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They were dealt a 37-7 defeat at the hands of West Forsyth. Forsyth Central has struggled against West Forsyth recently, as their contest on Friday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Foster Orris got back to being his usual excellent self, as he rushed for 136 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.6 yards per carry, and also picked up 61 receiving yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Carter Centanni, who threw for 222 yards and three touchdowns while completing 84.6% of his passes.
Forsyth Central's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 2-7. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 4.7 points per game. As for West Forsyth, their victory bumped their record up to 7-2.
Forsyth Central will head out on the road to face off against Denmark at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for West Forsyth, they will be playing at home against South Forsyth at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
