Cosby was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 12-11 heartbreaker at the hands of the FCA Flames. On the bright side, the 11- run effort marked the Eagles' highest-scoring matchup to date.

Gage McCarty put in work no matter where he played. He struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits (and only one walk). McCarty was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-1. He also put up an RBI, which was his first of the season.

In other batting news, David Baker was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3. Another player making a difference was Aiden McGaha, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Cosby's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10-1.

Looking ahead, Cosby will face off against Apostolic Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. FCA does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
