Bothell barely beat Hazen the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Cougars never let the Highlanders get on the board and left with a 10-0 win on Wednesday. Teyton Hardeman was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one double, and one RBI. Those three runs gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Wyatt Mickelberry, who went 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. That's the most doubles he has posted since back in April of 2024. Drew Marino was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
