The Rabun Gap-Nacoochee Eagles can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent game on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Gray Collegiate Academy 66-30 at home. The win was nothing new for Rabun Gap-Nacoochee as they're now sitting on four straight.
Despite the defeat, Gray Collegiate Academy had strong showings from Jordan Mintz, who scored ten points, and Raina Mayers, who scored six points along with seven rebounds.
Rabun Gap-Nacoochee's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-9. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.2 points per game. As for Gray Collegiate Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-9.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rabun Gap-Nacoochee will take on the Lions at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Asheville Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Friday. As for Gray Collegiate Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Lions at 6:00 p.m. Legacy Early College presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the War Eagles in South Carolina (the Lions are ranked fourth, while the War Eagles are ranked 57th).
