The Peyton Panthers won the last time they faced the Lotus School For Excellence Meteors, and things went their way on Wednesday too. Everything went Peyton's way against Lotus School For Excellence as Peyton made off with a 61-41 victory. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Peyton.
Peyton's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ayden Breese led the charge by dropping a double-double on 24 points and 12 rebounds. Gabriel Gatti was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with 5 assists and 5 rebounds.
Peyton's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Lotus School For Excellence, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
Peyton will head out on the road to face off against Banning Lewis Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Banning Lewis Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Tuesday. As for Lotus School For Excellence, they will square off against Windsor Charter Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
