Riverview is a perfect 5-0 against Spoto since February of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Sharks will take on the Spartans at 7:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Riverview took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They blew past Robinson 18-9. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Sharks have posted against the Knights since March 17, 2015.

Riverview got a massive performance out of Alivia Garry, who went 3-for-4 with one home run and three runs. Those three hits gave Garry a new career-high. Brooklyn Girard also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.
Riverview hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Robinson struck out seven times.
Meanwhile, while Spoto put up plenty of runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Brandon. The Spartans put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 16-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Spartans.
Lena Murphy made a splash while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over four innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
In other batting news, Chanel Williams was a standout: she scored three runs and stole three bases while going 4-for-4. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Keira Mitchell was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two triples, three runs, and two RBI.
The win got Spoto back to even at 7-7. As for Riverview, their record is now 10-7.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Thursday as neither team is afraid to steal. Riverview has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.9 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Spoto struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3.4 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Everything went Riverview's way against Spoto when the teams last played back in March, as Riverview made off with a 12-1 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Sharks since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
