The Vero Beach Indians scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They breezed by Westwood at home to the tune of 70-42. Vero Beach has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 20 points or more this season.
Vero Beach got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Camryn Reid out in front who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds. Aubriyonna Felder was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with nine rebounds.
Vero Beach has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a massive bump to their 11-7 record this season. As for Westwood, they dropped their record down to 5-13 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road.
Vero Beach will square off against Cocoa at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Westwood, they will be playing at home against Somerset College Prep Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Somerset College Prep Academy presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Westwood in Florida (Somerset College Prep Academy is ranked 170th, while Westwood is ranked 410th).
