The Los Gatos Wildcats won the last time they faced the Mountain View Spartans, and things went their way on Wednesday too. Los Gatos walked away with a 49-39 win over Mountain View. Given Los Gatos' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 98th, while Mountain View is ranked 318th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Anthony Martin, who scored 12 points along with six steals. Those six steals set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Nolan G. koch, who scored 14 points along with nine rebounds.
The victory makes it two in a row for Los Gatos and bumps their season record up to 9-3. As for Mountain View, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-4.
Los Gatos will be playing in front of their home fans against Saratoga at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Saratoga is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak. As for Mountain View, they will head out on the road to face off against Wilcox at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Wilcox has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 203 points over their last three matchups.
