Mt. Carmel's victory  ended  a  three-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 13-9. As for Edwards County, their defeat  ended  a  five-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 16-5.
 Mt. Carmel will have some time to savor their  win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Princeton at 4:30  p.m.  on  the 31st. Edwards County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
