Wilson has not lost a match in the yet, a trend which continued in their latest game on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Adamson 2-1.
Meanwhile, Jefferson's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fifth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Adamson. That's two games in a row now that Jefferson has lost by exactly two goals.
Wilson's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-0-2. As for Jefferson, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.
Wilson beat Jefferson 4-2 when the teams last played back in February of 2023. Will Wilson repeat their success, or does Jefferson have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
