Luke Davis was his usual excellent self, throwing for 102 yards and three TDs on only nine passes, while also rushing for 47 yards. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in each of the last three games he's played. Jose Sillas was another key player, rushing for 38 yards and a pair of scores.
Llano didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Austin Humphries and JD Friday. Friday got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Randolph played a tough game last Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 49-21 loss at the hands of Marion. Llano's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Randolph, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5.
