After four games on the road, Broken Arrow is heading back home. They will take on the Choctaw Yellowjackets at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Last Tuesday, Broken Arrow was fully in charge, breezing past Muskogee 84-19 on the road.
McKenzie Mathurin continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 10 for 12 from beyond the arc en route to 41 points and 1 assists. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Broken Arrow's points. Another player making a difference was Macy Marraccini, who scored 2 points along with 7 assists and 5 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Choctaw put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Stillwater 65-39. Fans of Choctaw have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season ended as a blowout.
The win got Broken Arrow back to even at 2-2. As for Choctaw, their victory bumped their record up to 4-0.
Broken Arrow didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Choctaw in their previous matchup back in February, but they still walked away with a 60-54 win. Will Broken Arrow repeat their success, or does Choctaw have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
