The Norte Vista Braves will be playing at home against the Patriot Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Norte Vista's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last ten matches.
Even though La Sierra scored an imposing 66 points on Tuesday, Norte Vista still came out on top. Norte Vista took their match against La Sierra 73-66.
Norte Vista found their leader in underclassman Carter Fulton, who scored 32 points along with two steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Fulton has scored at least a third of Norte Vista's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryan Ramirez, who scored 19 points.
Patriot won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Tuesday. They took a serious blow against Hillcrest, falling 70-39. While losing is never fun, Patriot can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 798th, while Hillcrest is ranked 188th).
Norte Vista has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 12-8 record this season. As for Patriot, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-15.
Everything came up roses for Norte Vista against Patriot in their previous meeting on January 9th as the squad secured a 84-53 win. With Norte Vista ahead 55-20 at the half, the game was all but over already.
