The Chamblee Bulldogs lost against the Arabia Mountain Rams on January 5th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Chamblee took a 62-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of Arabia Mountain.
When it comes to explaining why Chamblee lost, one person who can't be blamed is Ramon McDaniel, Jr.. Despite the final result, he scored 22 points. McDaniel, Jr. hasn't dropped below 15points for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Eli Starr, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Arabia Mountain to victory, but perhaps none more so than Julian Shanks, who scored 14 points along with nine rebounds. Jaden Ward was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Chamblee has been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season. As for Arabia Mountain, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.
Chamblee will be playing at home against Decatur at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Decatur presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Chamblee in Georgia (Decatur is ranked 55th, while Chamblee is ranked 318th). As for Arabia Mountain, they will head out on the road to face off against Tucker at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Tucker will be looking to extend their current 11-game winning streak.
