Galva was the 56-45 winner over Brimfield when they last played one another back in December of 2017, but their luck changed this time around. The Galva Wildcats took a hard 52-37 fall against the Brimfield Indians on Friday. The Wildcats' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jay Smith, who posted seven points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Blake Stahl, who had eight points and seven rebounds.

The defeat was their first at home , dropping their record down to 11-3. As for Brimfield, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

Galva wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 67-37 victory against Biggsville West Central on the 7th. As for Brimfield, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 54-36 loss against Peoria Christian on the 7th.
