East Rowan put their dominant pitchers on display in the team's fifth consecutive shutout on Thursday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Lake Norman Charter Knights an 11-0 shutout. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 contests by six runs or more this season.

East Rowan pushed their record up to 17-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.0 runs on average over those games. As for Lake Norman Charter, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-11.

Coming up, East Rowan will venture away from home to square off against West Rowan at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Mustangs 1.5, the Falcons 3.2) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Lake Norman Charter, they will host Greater Cabarrus S at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
