While losing is never fun, Yonkers Montessori Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 807th, while Hastings is ranked 212th).
Meanwhile, Dobbs Ferry earned a 66-53 win over Barack Obama School for Social Justice on Wednesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Dobbs Ferry.
Yonkers Montessori Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Dobbs Ferry, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.
Things could have been worse for Yonkers Montessori Academy, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 66-48 loss to Dobbs Ferry in their previous matchup back in January.
