Reimer Road Baptist Christian unfortunately witnessed the end of their 18-game winning streak on Thursday. They took a 56-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of HEARTS for Jesus Christ. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Reimer Road Baptist Christian came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 255th, while HEARTS for Jesus Christ is ranked 560th).
Meanwhile, even though Fuchs Mizrachi scored an imposing 90 points on Wednesday, Cornerstone Christian still came out on top. Cornerstone Christian skirted past Fuchs Mizrachi 92-90.
Quinn Kwasniak was his usual excellent self, shooting 12-for-28 from deep and dropping a double-double on 58 points and 13 rebounds. Kwasniak is crushing the point category: he's posted at least 21 every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Will Archer, who scored eight points along with nine rebounds.
Reimer Road Baptist Christian's defeat ended a nine-game streak of away wins and brought them to 18-2. As for Cornerstone Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season.
