After two games on the road, Diller-Odell is heading back home. They will be home for the holidays to greet the Fairbury Jeffs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fairbury took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Diller-Odell, who comes in off a win.
Diller-Odell has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 23 points or more this season. They took their game on the road on Friday with ease, bagging a 59-15 win over Lewiston. That 59-15 margin sets a new team best for Diller-Odell this season.
Diller-Odell can attribute much of their success to Myleigh Weers, who scored 11 points, and Aidan Mckinney, who scored 13 points. The match was Weers' sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Kenzie Strein, who scored seven points.
Meanwhile, Fairbury suffered a rough 45-25 loss at the hands of Crete on Friday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Fairbury has scored all season.
Diller-Odell's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Fairbury, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.
