If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Minnechaug Regional. On Friday they take on Taconic at Berkshire CC at 7:00 PM. Minnechaug Regional will be hoping to build upon the 33-6 win they picked up against Taconic the last time they played.
Minnechaug Regional secured a 47-41 W over Chicopee Comp. The success made it back-to-back wins for Minnechaug Regional.
Meanwhile, after soaring high against Easthampton/Hampshire two weeks ago, Icarus fell to the ground last week. Taconic took a serious blow against Wahconah Regional, falling 0-43.
Minnechaug Regional's victory lifted them to 2-0 while Taconic's defeat dropped them down to 1-1. We'll find out if Minnechaug Regional can add another positive mark to their record or if Taconic can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Minnechaug Regional's step.
