On Saturday, in a tight match that could have gone either way, Ada made off with a 42-41 victory over Fort Gibson.
Ada was led to victory by Devon Maccollister and Carter Colombe. Maccollister scored 14 points along with five rebounds and four steals, while Colombe scored 17 points along with three blocks and two steals.
Ada pushed their record up to 13-5 with that victory, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.0 points per game. As for Fort Gibson, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-7.
Ada will head out on the road to square off against Harrah at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Harrah comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Fort Gibson, they will be playing at home against Catoosa at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Catoosa's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four games.
