Basketball Recap: Benny Ambriz and Mason Pearcy Secure Win for Casa Roble

On Monday, the Casa Roble Rams beat the Twelve Bridges Raging Rhinos 73-60. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rams.

Casa Roble was led to victory by Mason Pearcy and Benny Ambriz. Pearcy went 10 for 14 on his way to 26 points and four steals, while Ambriz went 11 of 21 on his way to 29 points and five rebounds. Those 26 points gave Pearcy a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Preston Scott, who posted five points.

Casa Roble's record now sits at 14-3. As for Twelve Bridges, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 12-4.

Casa Roble and Twelve Bridges should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. Casa Roble (ranked 230th) will meet Rio Linda (ranked 1219th) at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Casa Roble is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 68 points per game this season. Meanwhile, Twelve Bridges (ranked 204th) will meet River Valley (ranked 501st) at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
