West Point got themselves on the board against Browne on Tuesday, but Browne never followed suit. They came out on top against the Bruins by a score of 5-0. This was payback for the Dragons, who suffered an 11-9 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Not much got past Aiden Lopez, who gave up just three hits to keep Browne off the board.

On the hitting side, West Point saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacob Gonzalez, who scored a run while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. Another was Aaron Ruiz, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

West Point's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-11-1. As for Browne, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Point will host Marana at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Browne, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cesar Chavez at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bruins' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Champions have averaged an impressive 10.3 runs per game this season.
