The Sutton Sammies will look to defend their home field on Saturday against the North Polar Bears at 1:30 p.m. Sutton will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
Last Saturday, Sutton didn't have too much trouble with Nipmuc Regional at home as they won 20-6. 20 seems to be a good number for Sutton as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.
Landon Dulmaine was his usual excellent self, rushing for 130 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.2 yards per carry. Dulmaine hasn't dropped below 100 rushing yards for five straight games.
Meanwhile, North fell victim to Doherty Memorial's stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They had to suffer through a rough 35-0 loss at the hands of the Highlanders. Having soared to a lofty 52 points in the game before, North couldn't push the score so high this time.
With Sutton's win and North's loss, both teams now sport identical 5-2 records.
