After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Chandler Prep, ALA - Anthem South was happy to have turned things around  on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Coronado Dons with a sharp  15-4 victory. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Titans' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

He looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out six batters over  four innings while giving up just two earned  (and two unearned) runs off   five  hits. Price was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring four  runs and  stealing a base while going 4-for-4.
 In other batting news,  Liam Wilson and  Logan Michel did most of the damage at the plate:  Wilson  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-3, while  Michel  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Ricardo Soto, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-2.
 ALA - Anthem South  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 12  hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Coronado only managed seven  hits.
ALA - Anthem South's first  win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Coronado, their loss was  their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 0-3.
 Looking ahead, ALA - Anthem South will head out to  challenge Apache Junction  at 3:45  p.m.  on March 10th. As for Coronado, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on St. Mary's  at 3:45  p.m.  on Tuesday. St. Mary's will roll in looking for their  fifth straight  victory, something Coronado surely won't give up without a fight.
