Glenelg had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the six-run drubbing they dealt Hammond on Wednesday. The Gladiators blew past the Golden Bears 9-3. The Gladiators haven't had any issues with the Golden Bears recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Glenelg's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Hammond, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.
