The Wyandotte Bulldogs suffered their biggest loss since November 30, 2023 on Thursday. They were beaten by Blue Valley West 52-22. Wyandotte was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-4.
When it comes to explaining why Wyandotte lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jaylynn Hunt. Despite the final result, she scored nine points along with five rebounds.
Wyandotte's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Blue Valley West, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-2.
Wyandotte will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Harmon at 5:30 p.m. Harmon comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 12 points in their last six games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. Blue Valley West will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on St. James Academy at 6:30 p.m. on February 6th.
