Meanwhile, Alcona came tearing into Tuesday's match with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They had just enough and edged Oscoda out 42-40.
Alcona's success was spearheaded by the efforts of David Sharboneau, who scored ten points, and Evan Borsvold, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Mio-Au Sable dropped their record down to 7-8 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Alcona, their win bumped their record up to 15-4.
