Summer Creek is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. In a tight game that could have gone either way, they made off with a 38-37 win over Katy. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 13th, while the Tigers are ranked 98th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Summer Creek relied on the efforts of Noah Spinks, who threw for 194 yards and three touchdowns while completing 72.4% of his passes, and Braylin Causey, who gained 80 total yards. Benny Easter Jr. got in on the action as well, returning a kick for a touchdown.

Meanwhile, King got themselves on the board against Jordan on Friday, but Jordan never followed suit. They claimed a resounding 52-0 victory over the Warriors. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won eight matchups by 30 points or more so far this season.
Summer Creek better keep an eye on Timothy Potts. Potts really tore up the turf during one magnificent 74-yard run. Dillon Mitchell was Potts' top target, picking up 126 receiving yards, while also rushing for 70 yards and one touchdown.
