Baseball Recap: Whitefield Academy Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Whitefield Academy barely beat Seneca the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Whitefield Academy's pitcher stepped up to hand Seneca a 15-0 shutout on Friday. The victory was familiar territory for the Wildcats, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Andrew Beickman was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Those zero hits allowed gave him a new career-low. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. Beickman is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season.

In other batting news, Whitefield Academy got a massive performance out of Braden Schwartz, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-2. Another player making a difference was William Dowdle, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.
