Dorchester Academy had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They took their game on Monday with ease, bagging a 51-19 victory over the Andrew Jackson Academy Warriors. The Raiders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Despite the defeat, Andrew Jackson Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore McKinnley Beard posted eight points and nine blocks. Those nine blocks gave Beard a new career-high.

Dorchester Academy has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.5 points over those games. As for Andrew Jackson Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 12-12.
