Garrard County is 2-8 against Boyle County since January of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Garrard County Golden Lions will stay at home for another game and welcome the Boyle County Rebels at 6:00 p.m. on January 16th.
Garrard County suffered their closest loss yet this season on Thursday. They fell just short of Bluegrass United by a score of 47-44.
Meanwhile, Boyle County waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins but they left with three. They walked away with a 55-43 victory over Calloway County.
Garrard County's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Boyle County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.
Garrard County came up short against Boyle County in their previous meeting back in January of 2023, falling 38-28. Can Garrard County avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
