The Kress Kangaroos will take on the Lazbuddie Longhorns at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.
Last Tuesday, things could have been worse for Kress, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 65-49 loss to Springlake-Earth. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Kress in their matchups with Springlake-Earth: they've now lost seven in a row.
Dillon Morphis put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored 19 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Drew Morphis, who scored 11 points.
Lazbuddie suffered their biggest defeat yet this season last Tuesday. They were beaten by Nazareth 103-6.
Kress has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season. As for Lazbuddie, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-10.
Everything came up roses for Kress against Lazbuddie in their previous meeting on January 9th as the team secured a 65-31 win. Does Kress have another victory up their sleeve, or will Lazbuddie turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
