The Lyndon Tigers are on the road again on Friday and play against the Cair Paravel Lions at 7:00 p.m. on November 17th. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Lyndon extended their postseason success on Friday against West Elk. They blew past the Patriots, posting a 58-12 win on the road. With Lyndon ahead 50-12 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Tanner Heckel continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 267 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 14.8 yards per carry, and also throwing for 20 yards and a touchdown. Heckel was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 68 yards. Another player making a difference was Jalen Massey, who rushed for 174 yards and a touchdown on only 15 carries.
Meanwhile, Cair Paravel entered their tilt with Chase County with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. Cair Paravel blew past Chase County 48-23.
Their wins bumped Lyndon to 11-0 and Cair Paravel to 9-2.
