The Mohave Thunderbirds lost against the Prescott Badgers back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Mohave was beaten by Prescott 60-27. Mohave has struggled against Prescott recently, as their matchup on Tuesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Leading Prescott to victory were Bella Abt and Addie Prisciandaro. Abt scored 15 points along with eight rebounds and five steals, while Prisciandaro scored 30 points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Rayne Libis, who scored two points.
Mohave has not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season. As for Prescott, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
Mohave will head out on the road to face off against Flagstaff at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Flagstaff is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games. As for Prescott, they will be playing at home against Coconino at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Arizona (Coconino is ranked 114th, while Prescott is ranked 126th).
