The Dallas Dragons were the 56-53 winner over the Elma Eagles when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Dallas fell just short of Elma by a score of 48-45. Dallas has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Elma's win on Saturday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Traden Carter, who scored 14 points. AJ Holmes was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with six rebounds.
Dallas' loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Elma, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dallas will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Aloha at 7:00 p.m. on December 27th. Elma will be home for the holidays to greet Aberdeen at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Aberdeen will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings (they are ranked 255th, while Elma is ranked 100th).
