Buena Park moved up to 121 from 204 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Freeway. The Coyotes were able to move up by defeating Troy 34-16.
Sunny Hills fell to La Habra 55-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Ahmad Redeemer was a passing and rushing force as Buena Park beat the Warriors. He completed 16 passes for 299 yards and 1 touchdown and also ran for 15 yards. Redeemer's favorite target this week was Nikolas Needham, who caught 7 passes for 125 yards.
SCOTT LLOYD threw for 259 yards and 3 touchdowns.
LLOYD put up the best numbers through the air as Fullerton bested Sonora. LLOYD's favorite target this week was JAMES HUBBARD, who caught 6 passes for 144 yards.
The Indians' LLOYD and HUBBARD led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-2 quarterback LLOYD has thrown for 1,452 yards this season, while HUBBARD has 32 catches for 655 yards. Deven Boston from Anthony White's team leads the league in rushing with 1,689 yards.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Troy takes on second place La Habra. Troy lost to the Coyotes last week, while the Highlanders topped the Lancers.
