Windthorst is a perfect 3-0 against Haskell since September of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Trojans are taking a road trip to take on the Indians at 7:00 p.m. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Windthorst sitting on four straight wins and Haskell on three.
Windthorst's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed last Friday. They breezed past Archer City to the tune of 63-0. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won three games by 62 points or more so far this season.

Windthorst relied on the efforts of Brock Belcher, who threw for 354 yards and four TDs on only 18 passes, and Adam Barton, who gained 134 total yards and three touchdowns. The dominant performance also gave Barton a new career-high in rushing yards (97). A healthy portion of Belcher's aerial production (150 yards to be exact) went to Ruben Willden, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.
Windthorst didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Archer City to a completion percentage of just 43.8%. That dominant aerial defense primarily came from four players: Aiden Stark, Braidan Messineo, Jaxon Stark, and Hayden Cavazos, who each logged one passes deflected. Windthorst hasn't an opponent to post a completion percentage of 0.67 or higher in three consecutive matchups.
Windthorst didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Brodie Belz and Conner Schreiber.
Meanwhile, Haskell won against Munday last Friday with 44 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Indians were the clear victors by a 44-18 margin over Archer City. The Indians might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by 24 points or more this season.
Windthorst better keep an eye on Haegen Pinkerton. He was instrumental in Haskell's win, rushing for 262 yards and four scores on only 14 carries. They are 4-1 when Pinkerton posts 100 or more rushing yards, but 1-2 otherwise. Ethan Camaco was another major influence, as he rushed for 125 yards and ran in a TD.
Windthorst's record is now 5-2. As for Haskell, their record now sits at 5-3.
Friday's game will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Belcher and Pinkerton. Belcher just won't slow down this season and has thrown 30 touchdowns while averaging 310.1 passing yards per game. Pinkerton has been a dominant force too and has thrown 9 touchdowns while averaging 132.1 passing yards per game.
Everything came up roses for Windthorst against Haskell when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 55-7 victory. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Pinkerton, who rushed for 106 yards and one touchdown on only ten carries. Now that he's got a second chance to win this matchup, will the Trojans still be able to contain Pinkerton? There's only one way to find out.
