Meanwhile, West Bend East had to suffer through a 93-41 loss at the hands of Whitefish Bay. While losing is never fun, the Suns can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 235th, while the Blue Dukes are ranked 100th).
West Bend East's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Nicolet, they pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.
