Brandon put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their undefeated season alive. Their defense stepped up to hand the Meridian Wildcats a 13-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for Brandon, who have now won nine matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Meridian from everywhere, as eight different players booted in a goal. Carleigh King led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.

Brandon's win bumped their record up to 10-0-1. As for Meridian, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Brandon will challenge rival Northwest Rankin at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Meridian is set to face off against their familiar foe Pearl at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
