Volleyball Recap: Parkway North Makes It Seven in a Row on the Road

Parkway North won the last time they faced Clayton and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Vikings blew past the Greyhounds 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-13, 25-20.

Parkway North can attribute much of their success to Dhanvin Patel, who had five digs and three aces. The dominant performance also gave Patel a new career-high in assists (three).

Patel wasn't the only good server: Parkway North was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 16 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Parkway North pushed their record up to 8-3 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Clayton, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3-1.

The future could be bright for both Parkway North and Clayton: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. The Vikings will look to extend Affton's three-game losing streak when they meet at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Clayton will try to hand Northwest their third-straight defeat when the two meet at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
