Lopez scored 13 points along with six rebounds, while Tahkofper dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds. Tahkofper scored a full 35.7% of Carnegie's points, the seventh time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Carnegie struggled to work together and finished the game with only two assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
Carnegie's loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 4-5. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 29.7 points per game. As for Fort Cobb-Broxton, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 4-5 record this season.
