Hamilton-Wenham Regional fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They walked away with a 27-19 victory over Tech Boston Academy on Friday.
Despite the loss, Tech Boston Academy still got an impressive performance from Xavier Carter, who rushed for 75 yards and one touchdown, and also threw for 125 yards on only 11 passes. A healthy portion of Carter's aerial production (93 yards to be exact) went to Esau Boyd-Wallace.
Hamilton-Wenham Regional's win bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Tech Boston Academy, they dropped their record down to 3-7 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.
