Spencer came tearing into Wednesday's contest with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.4 goals), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Spirit Lake Indians as they made off with a 9-2 victory. Spencer might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 19 games by three goals or more this season.

Spencer pushed their record up to 21-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 31 goals over those four matches. As for Spirit Lake, the loss snapped their winning streak at seven games and leaves them with a 8-3 record.

Spencer has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against A-D-M on the 30th. Spirit Lake does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
