On Friday, Overton take on St. Benedict at Auburndale at 7:00 PM. The MaxPreps rankings say the odds are against Overton, but that can only make success all the sweeter.
Overton had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They were given a punishing 22-63 loss at the hands of Bartlett.
Meanwhile, St. Benedict at Auburndale took care of business in their home opener. They strolled past Kingsbury with points to spare last Friday, taking the game 34-19.
St. Benedict at Auburndale's lifted them to 1-0 while Overton's defeat dropped them down to 0-1. Their offensive line will need to gear up for a tough test against a St. Benedict at Auburndale defensive front that amassed 4.5 sacks against Kingsbury.
