Wayne extended the longest winning streak in Greater Western Ohio - Central this week by beating Northmont, 14-7. The victory was the seventh in a row for the team.
Beavercreek moved up to 87 from 116 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Beavers climbed the ranks as a result of defeating Fairmont 28-0.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, the Thunderbolts' Graham Oberer and Cameron Taylor have proven to be a lethal combination. Oberer has thrown for 665 yards this season, while Taylor has 19 catches for 268 yards. Centerville's Damian Popp leads the league in rushing yards with 1,722.
Springfield lost to the Elks 41-6 last week, the largest margin of any game.
